Join artist and instructor Hannah Wolfe as she guides students in painting landscapes that reflect the colors, textures, and moods of the four seasons. Through demonstrations and hands-on instruction, Hannah will show students how to create their own spring blossoms, summer skies, autumn foliage, and winter stillness.

Whether you are a beginner or have some watercolor experience, learn new skills and build confidence in painting composition and watercolor techniques, including:

• Wet-on-Wet and Wet-on-Dry: Master the control and flow of pigment on varying paper moisture
• Graduated Wash: Create seamless transitions of color and tone
• Dragging: Achieve unique textural effects and delicate lines
• Glazing: Build rich, transparent layers of color
• Charging: Infuse vibrant colors into wet areas
• Salt-on-Wet: Experiment with intriguing organic textures
• Oil Resist: Explore fascinating resist effects with oil-based mediums
• Splattering: Add dynamic energy and natural details

Class-Specific Notes

The class fee includes a high quality pencil and eraser to ensure that all students have the proper materials for starting their artwork. The instructor will bring those supplies to class.
