Effective Fall 2025, there are no refunds if you cancel your registration in a one-night class. Students assume all risk for changes in their personal schedules.

NEW! If you believe a meal isn’t truly over until something sweet hits the table, this is the class for you. Join us for a hands-on evening dedicated to making two classic Italian desserts: rich and creamy Tiramisu and silky Panna Cotta. Through both demonstration and hands-on instruction, cookbook author and veteran culinary instructor Cynthia Ferich will share tips and techniques to guarantee success.
This class will focus on:
- Selecting the correct ingredients to ensure the best flavor and texture
- Developing basic kitchen skills such as:
- Blooming gelatin
- Tempering eggs
- Whisking and folding ingredients together
- Heating milk to the proper temperature
- Avoiding common pitfalls that result in soggy tiramisu or rubbery panna cotta
- Adding the finishing touches that elevate these desserts into the highlight of any special occasion
Class fee includes all ingredients to make and enjoy this dish. Whether you’re a kitchen novice or a seasoned home cook, you will receive personalized guidance as you work in small groups to prepare these classic recipes. Once the cooking is complete, enjoy la dolce vita by savoring these sweet dishes with your classmates. Don’t forget a container to take home any leftovers.
