In-person class at Fox Chapel Area High School.

For oil painters of all levels. Bring your canvas and paints and spend time with Martha Ball enjoying the art of painting with oils.

Beginners will spend an hour with Martha during the first three weeks exploring the essentials of color theory, composition, and the best materials for your art—while also discovering what it truly means to “make a picture.” Afterward, you’ll join returning students in open studio sessions, where you can begin your own canvas or continue developing a painting already in progress.

Experienced oil painters will receive personalized guidance from Martha while enjoying studio time with fellow artists.

Everyone will benefit from the impromptu lessons Martha delivers during class based on that evenings' conversations.
