After a demonstration of basic sewing techniques, the instructor will provide guided assistance as you learn:
- Fabric cutting techniques.
- Working with quilting cotton and fusible interfacing.
- Sewing machine basics.
- Piecing fabric.
- Basic stitches: Practice straight stitching, topstitching, and basting with proper seam allowances.
- Ironing methods
- Hand stitching to give your finished tote bag a clean, professional look.
Class size is limited to ensure each student has equal access to sewing machines and receives personalized guidance.
