NEW! Discover the joy of creating your own jewelry in this one-night beading class. Whether you are completely new to jewelry making or looking to brush up on foundational skills, this hands-on class is the perfect introduction to the art of beading.
Instructor Pam Keen will share her expertise to help you design and create a necklace that fits your personality. The class will cover:
- Bead Basics: Explore different types of beads, materials (glass, stone, wood, metal), and sizes to understand how to select and combine elements effectively.
- Essential Tools: Practice using specialized jewelry-making tools, such as a bead crimper tool for secure, professional finishes.
- Wire: Learn about different types of wire, string, and elastic and when to use them.
- Clasps: Learn about clasps to finish your necklace and how to attach them securely.
- Design and Composition: Gain practical tips on color mixing, pattern balancing, and focal point design as you compose your unique pattern.
The class fee includes all the materials necessary to create your own necklace. By the end of the evening, you will have completed a beautiful, custom-made piece of jewelry designed entirely by you!
