NEW! Bonjour! Have you always wanted to speak French but never knew where to start? This warm and welcoming six-week class is ideal for beginners with no prior language experience. The focus is on active speaking in a relaxed, encouraging environment with the goal of feeling a little more confident speaking French out loud after every session.

Instructor Linna Sawicki is a native French speaker who wants to take the stress out of learning a new language. She will help you build a solid foundation in everyday conversation through small-group practice, practical dialogues, and authentic native phrasing without being bogged down by heavy grammar drills or tedious textbooks.

Topics include:

• Essential greetings and everyday pleasantries
• Polite expressions
• Simple questions
• Expressing preferences
• Numbers
• Day of the week

In spring 2027, FCAAE plans to offer a continuation of this class to help people prepare for travel to French-speaking countries. Bring your curiosity and a willingness to give French a try. À bientôt!
