Using the internationally recognized Audrey Grant teaching method, this eight-week class breaks the game down into clear, stress-free steps within a relaxed and encouraging environment. Each class will include teaching sessions and "live-play" of hands.

Bridge is a fantastic way to stay socially and mentally active. It fosters teamwork and easygoing camaraderie, making every session a great place to meet new people. Plus, it’s an incredible mental workout. Regular play keeps your mind sharp by boosting memory, sharpening focus, and enhancing problem-solving skills.

Instructor Todd Hertzberg has been playing Bridge for more than 20 years. He is an active member of the Pittsburgh Bridge Association and holds the title of American Contract Bridge League (ACBL) Bronze Life Master. Todd’s goal is to make the game approachable, clear, and fun for all players by guiding you step-by-step through:

• The Foundations: Basic rules of play and trick-taking mechanics
• Hand Evaluation: Counting high-card points and analyzing hand shapes
• Bidding and Strategy: Standard American bidding principles with a focus on one-level opening bids and how to respond to them
• Teamwork: Communicating effectively with your partner
• Table Culture: Essential bridge etiquette and smooth gameplay

The class fee covers all materials, including a reference book that is yours to keep. By the end of the class, you’ll have the confidence, skills, and knowledge to sit down at a table and play a full game of Bridge comfortably with friends.
