Description
In-person class at Fox Chapel Area High School.
NEW! Build your confidence in the water or improve your swimming skills with individualized instruction from experienced US Masters Swimming certified instructors from the local Flying Fish Heads club.
This six-week series of private, one-on-one lessons is designed for adults who want to:
- Learn to swim
- Become more comfortable in the water
- Improve stroke technique and efficiency.
Lessons take place in a semi-private lane that you share with another private lesson instructor and student. Each 30-minute lesson provides focused, individualized instruction based on your goals and ability. As your skills and confidence develop, instruction may progress from the shallow end to deeper water.
These private adult swim lessons are tailored to your needs and goals. Focus on the aspects of swimming that matter most to you and leave with the tools to swim stronger, smarter, and faster!
Due to the personalized nature of this offering, the cancellation policy for swim lessons differs from other FCAAE classes. If you need to cancel your enrollment, refunds will only be provided if notice is given to FCAAE at least 7 days prior to the first lesson. An administration/cancellation fee of 50% of the class fee paid will be assessed.
Class-Specific Notes
Swimmers must follow Pool Policies and Procedures.
Locker rooms and restrooms are available for use by FCAAE swimmers. You are welcome to bring your own lock - or - bring your personal items pool side and leave on benches surrounding the deck.
The pool temperature is set for high school competitive swimming. You may find it helpful to wear a swim shirt if you are not someone who is constantly moving in the water.
No lesson October 3 due to another activity in the pool.
