Description
In-person class at Fox Chapel Area High School
Prerequisite: This class is intended for newer Bridge players who would like a playing experience in a supervised environment. Each week players will experience selected hands and review principles of good Bridge-play.
This series provides newer players (who already know how to play the game) an opportunity to play bridge in a friendly environment, preparing them for games with more experienced players. Bidding boxes, scoring and card-playing techniques are used to give players the perfect blend of practice, guidance, and fun.
Todd Hertzberg will lead this experience. He is a member of the Pittsburgh Bridge Association and is an American Contract Bridge League Bronze Life Master. He has more than 20 years of experience playing Bridge. During these supervised sessions, you will have the opportunity to:
- Refine Your Techniques: Practice real-time bidding and card-play
- Master Strategy: Gain insights into Opening Leads, Declarer Play, Defensive Signaling
- Build Confidence: Ask questions, review hands, learn from mistakes without the pressure of competitive play.
Class fee includes all materials. Transition from a hesitant Bridge beginner to a confident, strategic player in a supportive and structured environment. Whether you're looking to brush up on your skills or prepare for club play, this class provides the ideal space to sharpen your mind, elevate your game, and get to know fellow Bridge enthusiasts.
