NEW! Are you curious about 3D printing? Turn your ideas into physical objects in this four-week introductory course. From custom tools and practical household items to unique toys and art, 3D printing makes bringing your ideas to life easier than ever. Instructor Jeff Poole is a professional printer with extensive experience creating custom 3D designs. Gain a strong foundation in the technology and practical skills needed to design and print on your own.

In this class, you will learn:

• Printer Fundamentals: Explore different printer types, core components, and how they operate.
• Software and Settings: Master the digital tools and essential print settings.
• Materials and Filaments: Understand how to choose the right material for your project.
• Safety and Troubleshooting: Learn best practices and how to easily solve common print issues.

Class fee includes all the materials needed to create several items using the Bambu H2D 3D printers in the FCAHS Fab Lab. By the end of class, you will design and print your own final custom project—such as a personalized keychain, nameplate, desk tag, or decorative coaster—to take home!
