Description

In-person class at Fox Chapel Area High School.

NEW! Heinz History Center President/CEO Andy Masich will share his favorite American history stories, with a western Pennsylvania twist.

Dr. Masich will illustrate his lecture with slides depicting George Washington’s remarkable life, including his early years as a surveyor, explorer, French & Indian War fighter, Revolutionary leader, founding father, and first President of the United States to the Whiskey Rebellion.

The evening will be a very personal exploration of Washington’s loves and losses, victories and defeats, and, most importantly, his western Pennsylvania connections.

Registration is open to students ages 10 and older when accompanied by an adult. Being a history buff from a young age, Andy is happy to include younger minds in the evening's lecture and discussion.
