NEW! Stop calling a handyman for every drip and dent! Whether you’re a new homeowner or just looking to brush up on your DIY skills, this four-week class will take the mystery out of home maintenance. Through demonstrations and hands-on instruction, instructor Todd Perschke of Chapel Handyman Services will teach essential skills to keep your home running smoothly, safely, and affordably.

Topics include:

• Tools to keep in your toolbox (not all tools are necessary)
• Safety essentials
• Where to purchase materials and why big box stores aren’t always the best choice
• Drywall repair and finishing
• Painting and picture hanging
• Basic plumbing repair
• Basic electrical, including troubleshooting a broken outlet and installing/replacing a ceiling fan or light fixture
• Contractor precautions, do’s, and don’ts

Come with questions! There will be plenty of time for discussion and Q&A every week, as well as an opportunity to practice these new skills.
